Here's Murphy, our mini-champion-in-training...if all goes to plan! He's a pure-bred Lab from working lines and as far as we're concerned he's quite possibly just the most perfect little pup ever...99% of the time anyway...but then there's a good chance that we're more than a little bit biased.
Neither of us have ever owned a dog before (and I personally still can't believe that we actually have one now!), but after two years of on-off research, careful consideration of several breeds and MANY episodes of The Dog Whisperer, we figured it really looked pretty simple. We knew exactly what we were letting ourselves in for. How hard could it be? Erm.....
Loved reading this....we are picking our puppy (black working lab) in 4 weeks time...it's our first family dog too :-)
